a poem by Táhirih ( طاهره‎ "The Pure One") or Qurratu'l-`Ayn ( قرة العين‎ "Solace/Consolation of the Eyes") are both titles of Fátimih Baraghání (born in1814-1817 and executed in1852), an influential poet and theologian of the Bábí and Báha'i faith. She is often mentioned as an example of courage in the struggle for women's rights. Her date of birth is uncertain, as birth records were destroyed at her execution. Many sources agree that her birth date was in 1817.
